Vendor Relationship Associate

The Vendor team eats, breathes and dreams of great food. Exploring new cuisines and staying in the know about the top local eateries is an integral part of what our team does on a regular basis.  As a Vendor Relationship Associate, you'll oversee the successful performance of the best local chefs, caterers, food trucks and restaurants in order to create memorable client experiences. The vendor team creates and fosters close relationships with our vendors to build the company in a sustainable direction in which we are looking towards the future of and our successful positioning within the market.



  • Monitor and drive the positive performance of vendors as it relates to error-free order execution and client satisfaction
  • Coach and council vendor relationships to excellence in performance and service standards
  • Actively support issue resolution process in regards to credits and vendor performance
  • Update & enter vendor profile and menus into the database
  • Lead vendor menu audits to ensure menus meet all client needs and standards for acceptable menu mix and portioning guidelines 
  • Manage vendor menu updates and curation in order to meet client demands and expand culinary offerings on an ongoing basis
  • Regularly update necessary legal documents from vendors
  • Manage the collaborative relationship between all internal operational teams 
  • Analyze performance metrics in order to maintain successful markets and client satisfaction
  • Support onboarding efforts and orientation for new vendors
  • Assist other markets in creating and maintaining vendor relationships 
  • Photograph vendors' dishes for mouthwatering presentations to clients
  • Support stakeholder initiatives through active participation in team projects 
  • Deliver solution based results on challenging vendor issues 


  • 1-3 years of hospitality/customer service experience
  • Excel in making and hitting goals and achievements
  • A sense of urgency and the ability to hit deadlines
  • Ability to maintain long-lasting relationships with all types of contact points
  • Strong communication and light mediation/conflict management skills
  • Persuasive & savvy enough in knowing how to get a “No” to a “Yes”
  • Project management & working with large datasets is a plus
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and as a team
  • Knowledge of the local food & culinary scene
  • Hospitality industry or nutrition experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of Google Drive, Excel & Helpscout  
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • 4-year college degree
