Business Development Representative


As a member of the Client Sales team, you'll be an evangelist of great food for great companies. From prospecting to outreach to close, our Client Sales staff is passionate about the entire process of connecting companies with the best local vendor available. We're hunters at heart who want to find the best companies and spread the gospel about what exceptional local food, shared at a common table, can do.

Cater2.me is a growing mid-size startup on a mission to make eating at work amazing.  We're changing the way employees eat by drawing from a diverse set of local, passionate food providers that are making company meals more exciting inside and outside of the office. We work collaboratively across 11 US offices, from San Francisco and New York to Austin and LA.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
  • Identify and explore new industry verticals
  • Cold outreach to clients by phone, email and direct meetings
  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Communicate details of client needs to Operations team
  • Work with Sales leadership to improve processes and standards in place across the company

Requirements/Experience:

  • 1-3 years sales experience
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • 4-year college degree
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • Industry knowledge/relationships
