Marketing Manager

We’re a growing 160-person startup that’s on a mission to make eating at work amazing. Our marketing team loves using our creative and analytical skills to make companies stronger and stomachs happier. We prioritize learning and development, data-driven thinking, and getting things done. Our team works collaboratively across 11 US offices, from San Francisco and Denver to Chicago and DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Help grow the brand - through partnerships, growth hacking, lead generation, and other marketing programs
  • Develop strategic multi-channel marketing programs that drive awareness, consideration, and leads
  • Plan, manage, optimize, and report on these campaigns
  • Anticipate challenges and take advantage of real-time opportunities
  • Develop and refine messaging, competitive differentiation, and positioning
  • Use data to drive continuous improvement and to adjust strategies and tactics
  • Help create processes and documentation, to enable marketing programs to scale
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments on initiatives that drive interactions with prospects and customers

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of marketing strategy and fundamentals
  • Strong ability to problem-solve creatively
  • Must have 4-6 years of experience in marketing
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience collecting and evaluating data to measure the success of marketing programs
  • Time and project management skills, with ability to juggle and prioritize competing tasks
  • Familiarity with marketing software (e.g. social media software, ESPs, ad servers, marketing automation software, CRMs) and/or ability to pick up new software quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and to take initiative

Pluses:

  • Knowledge of APIs, databases, or advanced analytics tools
  • Experience directing the work of creative, media, or PR agencies
  • Experience in people management
