Marketing Coordinator, Events


Cater2.me is a growing 200-person startup on a mission to make eating at work amazing! We prioritize learning and development, data-driven thinking, and innovation, working collaboratively across 11 US offices, from San Francisco and Los Angeles to New York and Atlanta.

We’re seeking an Events Marketing Coordinator to grow our team of passionate marketers! Working closely with our Marketing and Sales teams, you will develop and execute strategic events to support our national sales, strengthen our relationships with current clients, and support our ability to create community among our clients and vendors. You will be responsible for full-cycle event management, working collaboratively in researching and securing venues, managing event logistics, creating collateral, developing content strategy, and building excitement around our events.

Our ideal candidate is passionate and excited about event management and will constantly innovate ways to use events to expose new audiences to our services. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage the development and ongoing execution of Cater2.me’s events, including calendar and budget
  • Constantly thinks of innovative ways to use events to support the national sales team and other relevant company efforts
  • Coordinate with other members of the Cater2.me team to deliver any assets or collateral relevant to your work
  • Manage all planning and execution of activation events, including content creation, promotional materials, and on-site management of staff, vendors, etc.
  • Define relevant goals and be responsible for success metrics

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or sales, and at least 1 year in event planning and execution
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of collecting and evaluating data to measure success
  • Exceptional time and project management skills with the ability to juggle and prioritize competing tasks
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Flawless writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and to take initiative
  • Bachelor’s Degree
